Satyakam Chakravorty is co-founder of Erfolg and has 30+ years of experience in international trade and global sourcing. In his current role he guides global companies in sourcing and trading products from India and other Asian markets.

He previously served as Country Manager India at Manuchar NV, Belgium — a leading distributor of chemicals across emerging markets with local presence in 160+ locations worldwide — and held successful roles at Fortune 500 trading houses including Sumitomo Corporation and Mitsui & Co.

Beyond India, he brings strategic sourcing and trading capability across China, South East Asia, Africa, Russia and the CIS. Having lived in these regions, he understands their cultural nuances, sourcing practices and product landscapes — a perspective few can match.

He holds a Master's in Foreign Trade and multiple Post Graduate Diplomas in Material Management and Marketing & Sales Management. Today Erfolg represents companies from Oceania, Asia, the European Union, Africa and LATAM sourcing industrial raw material, chemicals and agricultural commodities.

Mukesh oversees trade coordination and plays a key role in logistics planning, freight optimisation and documentation. His team ensures that orders shipped from India, China, South East Asia and the Middle East arrive on time and at the right landed cost.
